At Fagerberg, we don’t believe in treating sustainability as something separate, but rather see it as integrated in our offering. This means that sustainability is a function of our core business, something that is evident in our philosophy around products.
Not acting sustainably is unsustainable.
In our range, we only offer valves and instruments of high quality, which is a prerequisite for sustainability. And we don’t just mean that they last a long time and therefore don’t need to be replaced with newly manufactured products. Being premium products also means we can repair and refurbish them to make them as good as new and reusable for our customers.
When it eventually becomes time to replace a product that has served its purpose, we naturally ensure that it’s handled responsibly and is recycled whenever possible.
Another important aspect of our premium range is the high precision, efficiency, and reliability that it delivers. Regulation and measurement occur with great accuracy, which leads to optimized processes without unnecessary losses of energy or media. The products’ reliability prevents downtime and reduces the risk of spills, emissions, or system damage.
In addition, we work with selected suppliers to find smarter and more sustainable manufacturing methods and to reduce environmental impact through solutions that deliver even better quality and performance. We’re also in the process of collecting product data to help us keep a more detailed overview of factors related to sustainability.
Further ensuring sustainability are the services we offer. We have the expertise needed to take a holistic perspective on our customers’ processes. In other words, we can ensure that these processes are as well-calibrated and efficient as possible, thereby saving precious resources. We also train our customers in how to maintain a production process with the highest possible safety and minimal losses.
In other words, sustainability is an integral part of our operations, which makes it easier for our customers to reach their own sustainability goals.
